DOVER DAYS FRIDAY NIGHT ACTIVITIES CANCELLED DUE TO WEATHER

Due to inclement weather scheduled to last until late Friday night, Kent County Tourism has made the decision to cancel
tomorrow (May 6th) activities that were scheduled to begin at 6pm on Legislative Mall and end with a fireworks display.

“Our number one priority is to keep all constituents and attendees of Dover Days safe” said, Wendie Vestfall, Executive Director
for Kent County Tourism. “It’s unfortunate that we have had a consistent rain for the last few days and the forecast for tomorrow
is more of the same. However, on a positive note, it does look like the sun will come out for most of Saturday. We are hoping to see everyone at the Annual Dover Days Parade, which kicks off at 9:30am and hope they stick around for the rest of the weekends scheduled activities.

Event updates and information will be made available throughout the festival on the Dover Days website www.DoverDaysFestival.com
and the Dover Days Facebook page.

The following events tied to Dover Days will still be taking place on Friday:
