The Cowgill Corner Farm is located 2 miles East of Dover, Delaware, on Route 9, now known as Bayside Drive. The original part of the house was built in 1760's by a family named Cowgill, from England. Additions and improvements have appeared over the years. Two guest rooms and two campers available. Also accommodates people traveling with horses and dogs. |

Located 2 miles east of US 113 in Dover via North Little Creek Road (Route 8). The Little Creek Inn is a bed and breakfast establishment on a quiet farm just east of Dover. The three-story 1860 Italianate-style home is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Tastefully restored and decorated by Innkeeper Carol Thomas, the large overnight rooms and two-room suites all feature modern private baths (two with jacuzzi tubs), antiques, reproduction pieces, and designer linens. Other amenities at the inn are an outdoor pool, a screened porch, and two pet dogs. All rooms are provided with high speed wireless internet and Direct TV. The Little Creek Inn can accommodate up to 10 overnight guests. Acclaimed chef Bob Thomas prepares unique dishes as well as traditional local foods for inn guest. |
